God's hand in our lives.

I am back from a clergy conference where I experienced a wonderful mediation from Brother Curtis from the Society of St. John the Evangalist in Cambridge Mass. So many of the sections of the meditation spoke to me, but there is one that I want to share, as I did with a class at my parish this evening.
We are all on a journey. God is with us on that journey. Remembering how the bible is 1/3 profits-angels-dreams-etc., we can look at our lives and see where these came into play. Try it...look back on your life, the decisions you made, the chances you took, the hunches that were there, the person who showed up at the right time. Was God in that? I find it so for me, but we clergy types spend a lot of time (with the help of others) looking over our spiritual journeys.
Try it, look where God's hand was present in your life in the past...know it is there now. Who knows? You might recognize it.
